Exposure

Pre-sensitized screens are finished by crosslinking (polymerizing) the photopolymer emulsion with intense ultra-violet light, then processing the exposed screen, rinsing away the unpolymerized emulsion that was shielded by the black areas on the film positive. All screen Exposure & Processing should be performed in a yellow safe light area. This data is gathered on a Theimer 5,000 watt light source with a standard integrator. Actual exposure settings will vary with different light sources and configurations.
