Frames

We provide a wide variety of standard cast aluminum frames used for screens and stencils for most popular thick film screen printers. The typical frame sizes are from 5" x 5" up to 24" x 24". We also provide larger fabricated tubular frames used in larger printing applications.

Frames are specified by the inside dimensions X and Y such as 12 by 12. These frames can be recycled indefinitely if properly handled. Micrasem rechecks the frame integrity each time the frame is recycled prior to its reuse. We maintain customer frame inventory at our facility providing a smoother transition from order entry to product shipment.

Frame Selection Considerations:

•	Maximum image size plus squeegee width and travel.
•	Additional squeegee width and travel of 7 to15% beyond the X - Y dimensions is needed for good image definition.
•	In overall frame and screen selection the primary control is dictated by image line resolution and wet print thickness of the material being printed.
