Metal stencils are predominately used for solder deposit for Surface Mount Technology [SMT] assembly. Stencils are manufactured primarily of brass and Stainless Steel(SS). Due to extreme strength of SS most stencils are created of stainless steel to limit stretching or oil canning.
Using data from customer provided CAD files or a one-to-one positive, we produce a stencil to the thickness and size specified by the customer. The metal stencil panel is mounted onto the proper frame with a polyester mesh for printing.
